Domestic Violence Awareness
The 1992 Alpha Chi Omega National Convention marked the adoption of domestic violence awareness as our national philanthropy. This issue is one we stand behind as something that affects both men and women all over the world. Together, we work to fight against unhealthy relationships and build healthy relationships. Members serve individuals and families impacted by domestic violence through fundraising and gifts of time and talents for shelters and other service-providing organizations. Alpha Chi Omega also works to educate its own members, giving them tools to build their own healthy relationships, and to raise awareness of domestic violence by educating others on the impacts of and work being done to end it.

Nacho Night
Every semester, the women of Alpha Chi Omega put together their philanthropy dinner: Nacho Night. This includes endless nachos for everyone who purchase a ticket. All of the proceeds raised from this night are donated directly to the local domestic violence shelter in Toledo, The Bethany House.

Healthy Relationships Week
Healthy Relationships Week takes place in the month of February and is dedicated to promoting healthy lifestyles in our romantic, friendly, and family relationships. During this week, Alpha Chi's nation-wide spread the message that "Love shouldn't hurt" through their college campuses and communities.
